Just as we promised SJ that she could have a small and intimate party post-lockdown last year, we did the same for EN too. They both celebrated hard lockdown birthdays in April and May, and we were able to celebrate them with small and intimate parties in October – both in one weekend.
EN and I had been chatting about themes for months before her 6th birthday party and she was adamant and so excited on a “fairy party”. We had such fun looking through Pinterest and coming up with some cute fairy party ideas.
We created a beautiful enchanted forest backdrop with greenery and beautiful flowers and set her kiddies table up with the cutest pink toadstool cushions. The girls got to choose their “fairy name”, play pass the parcel and musical chairs and then make up and decorate their own fairy gardens – these were such a hit!
