EN 5th Birthday – Decor

10 July 2019|

And the finale of our kids parties for the year… Our little EN turning five and as per her request: A small party with a few friends with pink and sparkles. So we settled on a Gem theme.

The party decor started with an iridescent pack of plates and cups – and we drew the pink, purple and blue colours with a shimmer and shine. These days, most people send out an e-invite party invitation as it is so much easier than handing out paper invites, as well as a lot cheaper than having to print invites. But I just can’t resist the look and feel of a real invitation in your hands, a memo to stick on the fridge and so personal. Kerryn from The Arty Party blew us away with the gem-shaped invite with silver foil.

EN is such a girly girl who loves to wear pink, sparkles and high heels so this theme and colour scheme was perfect for her. She loved her flowing pink dress, the gem-shaped-everything and the Finders Keepers ‘digging for gems’ activity. All the little girls had so much fun making princess crowns, having their nails painted and their hair braided, digging for gems and playing pass the parcel.

This party was perfect for our little gem.
