Can you tell that March, April and May is birthday bonanza in our house?
And trust me, we didn’t plan having our babies in consecutive months, it honestly just happened that way. In fact, they were supposed to be April, May, June babies but each came a month or more early. With MC’s birthday in February, it’s always a busy (and costly) start to the year. But then everyone saves their money and energy to celebrate my birthday in August and Christmas in December.
The last kiddies birthday in our home is our precious little EN. And this year, she turned the big number FOUR. What a year of growth it has been – she has come leaps and bounds and shows such growth and maturity over this past year.
And she loved getting involved with her party planning this year too – she loves her ballet and hip hop dance classes so a ballet theme was an easy choice for her. She loves playing dress up and losing herself in dance and her wold imagination. EN wanted everything pink and glittery with dance ribbons and tiaras and then fun games, and ballerinas dancing.
We were lucky enough to host the party at the ballet studio that the girls attend classes, and it was the perfect big space to celebrate and dance in. The girls enjoyed a little pink feast before being treated to a real-life ballerina show and taught some moves from the ballerinas. We had fun playing party games: musical statues, musical chairs (which was a hard lesson for little girls to learn!), pass the parcel and pin the ballet shoes on the ballerina.
Our little sensitive soul said it was her best party, even though the small space and loud noise got to her at times – and she was too shy to dance with the ballerinas or join in some of the games. So proud of our little four year old ballerina.
