One of our favorite December holiday traditions is our annual holiday to Champagne Sports Resort in the Drakensberg mountains. We have one weeks timeshare in the chalets and we love our week of fun in the sun, indulging at the buffet, fresh mountain air and making memories with special friends.

In past years, we have met up with a few friends and their families but this year, it was nice to spend it with just one other family – our special Fourie friends and their family of five.

We had the best week ever – swimming and fun by the pool, games and outdoor fun at the kids club, walks and riding bikes, movies and sand art when it rained, magical mountain thunderstorms and sunsets, even a sleepover with all six kids but most importantly, quality time and relaxation with our little family and so many memorable moments with friends.
