It’s been a while since I shared any home decor on the blog, and I was recently on Pinterest looking for ideas for the twins ‘big boys room’ – how is that even possible already?! And I remembered that I had shared the twins nursery but no other room updates for a while…
So first up today, is the girls playroom. Just before the boys were born in 2022 and after spending lots of time in our home during lockdown, we made some small decor and furniture changes in the girls rooms, our outside entertainment area and the girls playroom (although now we are looking at ideas into transforming the playroom into more of a boys or unisex playroom now that we have twin toddlers running around!)
This was our original playroom when we first moved into our home: original playroom. With our playroom update two years ago, we made a few small changes which made a big difference:
- We put a new rainbow vinyl sticker on the wall
- We swapped out the fun artwork in the frames
- We bought a new rug and cushions
- We repainted our cupboard drawers and table and chairs
- Added new hooks and a pin board
And voila, a whole new playroom! I absolutely love these new, fun and bright colours.
The people who made it happen:
- Interior decorating: Kirsty from Lindley & Co
- Photography: Bron from Vanilla Photography
- Rainbow vinyl sticker: Munks and Me
- Rug and floor cushions: CLM Home (new name Little Whitehouse)
I have always loved this interesting and pretty room where the girls have spent so many hours letting their imagination run wild and having such fun from their dolls and barbies progressing onto being set up like a classroom! It has brought them so much joy ❤❤❤
