Hello World… It’s Me

15 April 2019|

April 15th 2019.

April, really?! How is that even possible?

So the first quarter of the year is nearly done, and I have barely posted at all this year. And this would be a current representation of my life. Fast, crazy, speeding by, chaotic – and all those things. But I am here, I’m back and trying my best to stay! I miss this little space – and the creativity, friendship and interaction it brings…

What’s been going on in our lives? A quick update and the promise of some fun blog posts coming soon…

We started the new school year with SJ in Grade One and ZB starting play school

I went on a Pilates & Yoga Retreat in Bali

We celebrated ZB’s 2nd birthday

MC did the Cape Epic cycle race

We went on holiday to Mauritius

We celebrated SJ’s 7th birthday

And lots more…

In saying that, I have also noticed a few new faces around the blog, Instagram and Facebook pages so I thought a quick introduction would be a good start to this happy Monday.

Hi! I’m Caley – a thirty-something, Child of God, devoted and loved up wife, proud stay-at-home mama, eternal optimist, creative party hostess, A-type organizer living my very best life. We live on the sunshine coast of South Africa with our three precious daughters and enjoy a love for Jesus, family, friends, opening our home to bring people together, the ocean and beach on our doorstep and making memories we will remember forever.

If you are new around here, I would love for you to say hi and leave your name, where you are from and something fun about you in the comments. If you are a faithful friend, follower and reader of the blog – please stop and say hi too, and tell me one thing I don’t know about you.

Looking forward to connecting with you.

  1. Hi sweetpea
So my comment today is, I remember the first time I met you when you and MC started dating. It was a house where DY and MC lived together, their diggs. I am so warmed to see how far you have come in your relationship with MC and what you have created, your girls and your life together. It truly warms my heart. You are both such beautiful people. May God continue to bless you both
    Xxxxxxx

    1. Aw Kerry, thank you for the kindest words. It really means so much to me – and crazy how I remember those digs days and meeting you too!
Sending lots of love to you and your precious family too x

  2. Love your blog! I am from Noordhoek in Cape Town and been following your blog for a while! Love your organization skills and beautiful parties.
