How far along? 31 weeks.
Baby size: Baby is the size of a cabbage, 40cm long.
Weight gain: I have now gained the weight lost during my sickness – plus 2kgs.
Maternity clothes: Not yet…
Stretch marks: No new marks (a few from previous pregnancies)
Sleep: Can’t get enough sleep – the third trimester exhaustion setting in.
Gender: It’s a GIRL!
Best moment this week: Seeing our sweet baby girl at our 4D scan – and just falling in love with her chubby cheeks, button nose and perfect pout.
Looking forward to: Starting on the nursery and getting prepared…
What I miss: Not missing anything at the moment, just grateful to be well again.
Movement: Lots – this baby girl is busy!
Food cravings: Greek salad, white rolls and Coke (please don’t judge!)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still mainly cooked vegetables, protein and drinking water.
Labour signs: We had a small scare last weekend with Braxton Hicks and some pain. But a trip to the labour ward put our minds at ease that all is well and as it should be. I do need to start slowing dow and resting though…
Symptoms: Just the usual discomfort and getting tired easily.
Belly button in or out: In
Weddings rings on or off: On.
Mood: Excited – we cannot wait to meet this little princess.
Nursery: Furniture and linen has been ordered and excited for installation at the end of Jan.
Workouts: Still taking it easy and no gym for me.
