October is in full swing and we are wrapping up our Spring break holidays and getting ready for back to school, for a fun and busy last term of the school year.

A recap of my September Goals:

• Welcome Spring with open arms But we always forget that Spring brings the rain and a delayed Winter chill.
• Book a self care getaway An incredible long weekend with beautiful humans at Brookdale
• Enjoy more walking – I didn’t walk much at all!
• Cheer on SJ at her first PPL waterpolo tournament Such a little champ, she had the best weekend and we are so proud of her!
• Host our school golf day A labour of love each year but it went off well and was a great success!
• Keep our girls sane through their academic assessments Not going to lie, I wasn’t a great mom through this but they survived!
• Cheer on SJ at her second DPL hockey tournament Another fun weekend of sport, friends and cheering on the hockey sidelines!
• Catch up the 2023/2024 party blog posts – Gosh, a lot of draft clog posts but they are coming!
• Start thinking of ideas for the twins ‘big boy’ room Loving all the cute ideas and settled on a theme
• Start planning the twins 2nd birthday party Invites sent and I can’t believe they are TWO!
• Break up day and spring holidays Fun and busy holidays but so ready for back to school.
• Family pizza and games Friday night Finally squeezed one in this week and we’re about to lose our Friday nights to hockey again!
• Cheer SJ and EN on at the PSI indoor hockey tournament So so proud of these two girls and their incredible teams – what an awesome weekend and two gold medals!
• Celebrate a special friends 40th birthday A brunch picnic in the garden turned freezing cold rainy day but we celebrated our beautiful friend turning forty.

October Goals

• Celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary
• Start playing more padel
• Enjoy more walking, trying this again
• Drink more water
• Back to school and settle into Term 4
• Cheer on ZB at her Sports Day
• Celebrate our special au pair and her partner
• Finish reading The YES Life
• Cheer on my Tee at her YES Life evening
• SJ’s first school waterpolo tour
• The start of Silly Sevens hockey season for EN and SJ
• Celebrate our precious boys turning TWO
• Back to Nippers lifesaving for our three girls
• Watch a new Netflix series
• Clear out our cupboards for Summer
• Start Christmas shopping
• Trick or treating fun with our kiddies
