February Goals

Wow! It’s been a crazy start to the year… And now it’s the month of love and a BUSY month of birthdays for our friends group.

A quick recap on my January goals:

  • Early morning wake up – before the rest of the family – This has been life-changing!
  • Daily Word and journalling – Loving writing again
  • Nourish my body – This was a slow start with all the holiday fun!
  • Move my body – I also haven’t found a great workout routine yet
  • Start swimming exercise – Loving the new swimming training
  • Join a new exercise class – Loved my early morning Barre classes
  • Settle our girls back into the new year at school – So grateful for a smooth start and happy girls!
  • Put together our teacher and class gifts – Always a creative way to start the school year
  • ZB’s Grade 1 hat ceremony – A very sweet morning with our baby girl
  • EN’s Grade 4 blazer ceremony – Love these Rites of Passage at our girls school
  • Two date nights with MC – We managed to sneak two nights away to plan our year but that’s it!
  • Read three books – LOVING my reading this year!
  • Update the girls milestone albums – Ticked this off and now must do the boys albums
  • Watch a SA20 cricket match as a family – So much fun!
  • Watch a Sharks rugby match as a family – We love these matches together!

February goals:

  • Enjoy the early morning routine
  • Get back into a good fitness routine
  • Read 3 new books
  • Watch a new series
  • Celebrate our special MC’s birthday
  • Celebrate many special friends birthdays
  • Cheer our girls on at their Championship Gala
  • Swim the Midmar Mile as a family
  • Host our monthly bookclub
  • Celebrate Valentine’s Day
  • Celebrate my besties birthday weekend
  • Half term long weekend to Mozambique
  • Celebrate our LINC Sisterhood at church
  • Attend our first high school open evening with SJ
