SJ 9th Birthday – Decor – Ellie Love Blog

For over a year, SJ has begged to have a teepee sleepover party for one of her birthday parties. This year we decided it was a wonderful idea. When mentioning it to her bestie, they realised that they were both planning the exact same party. Cue happy mums as we made the decision to combine the bestie’s birthday parties. Their birthdays are only two weeks apart so we celebrated on the middle weekend and their guest lists overlapped as their little friends are all so tight, and we had the sweetest sleepover ever.

Never in our wildest dreams did we think that our sleepover plan would come to life like it did. The full sleepover set up was done by Justine at My Teepee Glampover – Justine arrived with her team and in a matter of hours, our lounge becomes every little girls dream come true. Us moms were wow’ed, the girls squealed with delight and were honestly blown away. Justine covers every little detail – the teepee, the mattress and sheets, the cushions, the duvet, the tables, the fairy lights, the flowers, the movie screen, the sound system, the projector screen – just everything!

The party planner in me added in our stationery touches, the party packs and food items and movie boxes, and just to be EXTRA, we added more balloons to the ceiling and a dessert cart for our cake, cupcakes, biscuits and macaroons.

Sometimes planning and executing little people events can be crazy and exhausting – but when they get into bed the next day, with a sparkle in their eye and say: “Thank you Mom for the BEST DAY AND PARTY EVER!” You know it was all totally worth it.
