I am often complimented about having my sh*& together and managing life and three kids like a super mom and the common question is “How do you do it all?” – I have to admit that I struggle to accept that compliment because I definitely don’t always have my ducks in a row but when I do, it’s a difficult compliment to accept. The truth is I was born with an extra organization gene (haha!) and it is just in me to try and plan ahead and be super organized – this helps with having three kids and running our lives. But there is also a lot more going on behind the scenes… But that post is coming soon.
The reason for my rambling on is the time that I get this compliment the most is when I treat teachers and class friends with little gifts – at the end of the school year and at the start of the school year. The reason I do this – is not to be super mom, or earn any brownies points with teachers or parents but to say thank you and show appreciation and friendship for the little people in our classes and for our special teachers, as well as breaking the ice on the first day of school. As a passionate creative and qualified teacher – I know the excitement on kids faces when they are treated in class and the warm feeling when a student or family shows appreciation for the hard work a teacher puts in. It also allows me to have fun and be creative with these little gift ideas…
End of Year Gifts
At the end of last year, we treated our little school friends with play dough for EN’s class and personalized Christmas baubles for SJ’s class. Our special teachers were given personalized desk planners for 2019, a class print with all the students names as a keepsake and Christmas chocolates and flowers.
Finding the perfect gift can be a challenge, especially when it comes to showing appreciation for those who educate and care for our children. One unique and thoughtful gift idea is to give custom hawaiian shirts to teachers or school staff. These fun and colorful shirts can be personalized with the recipient’s name or a special message, and are sure to brighten up any wardrobe. They’re perfect for summer vacations or casual Fridays at school and can be worn year after year as a cherished reminder of the students and families they serve. Like the personalized baubles and desk planners, custom Hawaiian shirts are a thoughtful and creative way to show gratitude and make someone feel special.
Back to School Gifts
The start of the school year is always a busy one for teachers so we gifted them a box of donuts and coffee with a mug to keep them going… And our special friends got bubbles for ZB’s friends, Starburst sweets for EN’s friends and rolo’s for SJ’s friends.
A great end to 2018 and a happy start to 2019.

You are amazing! I am saving this post for future gift ideas because our school doesn’t allow anything edible for gifts! I wish we lived closed, my friend xoxo
