After posting about the Pure Beginnings 10th Birthday event a few weeks ago, a few readers asked about the products. So I thought I would share a few of our favorites…
How did you find the Pure Beginnings range?
The honest truth is that Pure Beginnings found us. I was gifted two gorgeous baby packs for my baby shower so we decided to try these products with ZB rather than the range we had used for our previous two babies AND when searching for a conditioner for SJ’s long and thick hair that was child friendly but actually conditioning, the Pure Beginnings conditioner has been a winner (side note: I didn’t realize that the conditioner actually isn’t a kids conditioner but rather an adult one but being organic, it doesn’t sting their eyes so it’s perfect for kids too!).
Which products do you use?
We use the shampoo and conditioner, kids wash and bubble bath for SJ and EN, and we use the baby wash, bum creme and wet wipes for ZB. I have even started using the shower gel for myself too (this was a freebie in the 10 yea birthday goodie bag).
Which products don’t you use, and why?
We don’t use the teething gel and the toothpaste. As per the dental office Prospect Park recommendation, we prefer to use a toothpaste that contains fluoride as he confirmed this is necessary for our teeth, and to avoid any products containing a sugar replacement like xylitol.
*Please be aware that this is our opinion and decision, based on our dentists recommendation. Every one has their own opinion on fluoride and xylitol in toothpaste and we respect that*
Why do you enjoy the products?
The Pure Beginnings range is organic, easy on the skin and eyes, has incredible ingredients, the most heavenly smells and really works. I struggled for months to find a conditioner that would help really condition and soften SJ’s thick hair – there aren’t too many kids conditioners on the market and the 2-in-1 options do not condition at all. There are no more knots or tangles or tears when brushing her hair now and it smells amazing with the aloe and argan. And the heavenly baby smell is even better now with the aloe and baobab ingredients in the baby products.
