Book Review: Truly Madly Guilty

27 April 2017|

Title: Truly Madly Guilty

Author: Liane Moriarty

Genre: Domestic Thriller

Main Characters:

  • Sam & Clementine – Suburban couple
  • Erika – Clementine’s oldest friend
  • Tiffany & Vid – the neighbours

Summary:

Best friends Erika and Clementine attend a BBQ at their neighbors home with their husbands and children, right before a tragedy changes their lives forever, and puts everything they thought they knew about themselves and each other into question. A reminder that one small moment can destroy everything.

Verdict:

This book is very very slow. It takes a good few hundred pages to actually get to the point and I nearly didn’t finish this book. But then finally things start happening… I expected something a little more juicy to have happened at the BBQ but this book is more about the characters and their personalities, hardships and relationships.

Have you read it? what did you think?

Any other good book recommendations?
