Five on Friday

17 February 2017|

Another Friday, another weekend and another week that our baby girl is still baking… Our week has been filled with all things love and memories with celebrating Valentines Day.

One // Valentines Date. MC and I decided to celebrate Valentines a little early this year with a day date at The Oyster Box hotel – my favorite place to indulge in a delicious buffet champagne breakfast overlooking the beach and light house.

Two // Teacher Gifts. Our girls get so excited shopping for and putting together the sweetest gifts for their teachers for any occasion. This year, the teachers received the cutest little couple cactus and delicious chocolates.

Three // Class Gifts. These are always more fun and the girls have the best time handing them out to their sweet friends, and making sure they each bag one for themselves. This year, EN’s little friends got sour worms for being ‘love bugs’ and SJ’s class got melted juices from Olaf (still all a little Frozen-obsessed!)

Four // Valentines Picnic. This is the first year that EN and SJ are at the same school and we were lucky enough to celebrate with them both at their school annual Valentines picnic. We packed a basket of hearty treats (pancakes, popcorn and heart-shaped snacks) and sat on the grass enjoying the time together.

Five // Valentines Spoils. With a wife and almost three daughters, MC really has his Valentines work cut out for him in years to come – and yet he never disappoints. EN, SJ and myself were all spoilt with red rose deliveries during the day and I got a preggy pamper massage from my favorite Oyster Box too. Poor Dad just got an updated sock, jock and pj drawer…

How did you spend your Valentines Day?
