I love to read romantic or suspense novels – these are a few of my favourites: The Girl On The Train, What Alice Forgot, The Husbands Secret and Deep Blue Sea.

What do you wear during me-time?
Me-time requires extreme comfort but there is also something about looking too slouchy that makes me feel fat and frumpy. Although, I highly doubt I pull off the comfy look very well, but I try… Track pants or tights and a vest. And ALWAYS slippers.

Current favourite nail polish?
I have never been a huge nail person and I used to bite my nails so now I stick to Gelish manicures every month. My favourite colours are their bright pink or coral, and cute fun with their nail art.

I’ve never been a candle person but I’m starting to think that I should be – I am obsessed with the smell of lemongrass so hopefully I can find that scent?

There is nothing better than a few hours of catching rays and Vitamin D in the sunshine – I love Summer me-time on the beach or by the pool.

Anything to add? what else do you do for me-time?
It must be noted that me-time with a toddler and a baby isn’t a regular occurrence but I make the time. I try my best to get away for a week day pamper spoil to have my nails or hair done. And I love an indulgent full body massage at a local spa. Even a few minutes out of my day to read a book or nap is heavenly bliss for this busy momma.

I'm not sure of you get a brand of candle/products in SA called Glasshouse, but there candles are AMAZING! They're a bit pricey but the large one last at least a year. The Coconut-Lime and Vanilla-Caramel are to die for 🙂
