I have been meaning to post every Friday for months, but have never got round to it.
So here it goes…

1. Christmas. Is around the corner which means Summer is in full swing in Durban (yes dear American friends, we are now in Summer which makes our Christmas all about BBQ, sun, sea and pool side gatherings – very different from the Winter Wonderlands that I see on most blogs at the moment!) The silly season is fast approaching and I am starting to get that jingle bell feeling in my tummy.

2. First trimester. Done and dusted. Thank goodness. Now please let me feel normal and human again, eat normally again and start enjoying this sweet miracle of a pregnancy.

3. Victoria’s Secret swimwear. Can we just discuss why we don’t have a million gazillion of these gorgeous stores in South Africa? It makes no sense! I have spent my life savings ordering bikinis online (only to find that I ordered just the tops and now I am desperately trying to get hold of the bottoms before the holiday season kicks off!) They are all so beautiful…

4. Macaroon.co.za. Anything with this little scrumptious delight’s name has to be amazing. This gorgeous online store is my new weakness. I love the colours, the prints, the organisation, the labels, the personalisation. I love it all! Do yourself a favour and visit them online and start ordering… Or if you are in Joburg, pop into their store in Parkhurst. (blog post coming soon)

5. House update. 3 more weeks!! I cannot believe I am even saying this. In less than a month, we will be in our new dream home. The home we have been waiting over 2 years for. Just in time for the holidays and Christmas. Eeeeeeeeek! So all doors and windows are in, all ceilings and skirtings are done, front entrance and staircase almost complete, most flooring done and all cupboards are in. Now we wait for bathrooms, final plumbing and lighting, carpets and all our decor and furniture. 3 weeks and counting…
