July Goals

Hello July.

Officially halfway through the year, Term 2 complete and already a week into our Winter holidays…

June Goals:

  • Blog three times this month Twice will have to do!
  • Read two books – I am really struggling to get in and finish a book at the moment…
  • Keep moving my body – This was a nightmare month in the gym – after two weeks of bronchitis and a shoulder injury, I wasn’t very consistent!
  • Help SJ prepare for her first high school exams Glad they are over!
  • Attend our church Sisterhood evening – SJ went without me, I was home sick in bed!
  • Anxiously await our provincial hockey team announcements – Proud of our SJ and I know our EN will come back tougher next year!
  • Enjoy a family long weekend away The best weekend of rest and relaxation, and just the seven of us
  • Cheer our girls on at Interhouse cross country So proud of them all for running so well!
  • Cheer EN and ZB on at their biathlon Both girls raced so well and each came second!
  • Celebrate our special MC for Fathers Day A relaxed afternoon together after being away
  • Enjoy a Midlands weekend away with friends Freezing but fun weekend!
  • Watch Hilton vs Michaelhouse derby Freezing cold but good rugby!
  • Go to my annual medical check ups (dentist, gynae and dermatologist) Tick, tick, tick
  • Wrap up Term 3 for the Winter holidays Going to enjoy the break!

July Goals:

  • Blog three times this month
  • Read two books
  • Watch one new series
  • Enjoy some rest and quality time together in the holidays
  • Cheer SJ on at her KZN hockey tour
  • Steal moments with MC whilst on tour
  • Take the twins to their first movie at the cinema
  • Take the girls to watch the Ballito Pro surfing
  • Cheer EN on her school hockey tour
  • Cheer the Springboks on at the local Test match
  • Take a sunrise beach walk with MC
  • Settle our kids into Term 3
  • Watch ZB’s first hockey tournament
  • Welcome EN home after her school excursion
