And just like that, it is the end of the year. The last month on the calendar and the end of our school year. The festive season has begun and we are a week into Christmas holiday break… 2024, where did you go?!

A recap of November Goals:

• Start training regularly with MC – Nope, failed miserably
• Weekly date nights with MC – We managed one that was so kindly gifted and organised by our au pair and her partner
• Prioritise prayer WITH MC, not just for him – Another sad fail, we didn’t make the time this month
• Read more bedtime stories with our kiddies – We read a few, but definitely not enough
• Sell my preloved clothes at the Never New Fashion Fair Done, and what a great sale for me!
• Encourage our EN and SJ through test season at school They did so well this term, very proud in the busyness of life.
• Watch the girls acrobatics show Love watching our girls shine on stage!
• Watch ZB’s ballet show Sweetest little woodland fairy
• Attend our school mums breakfast A very special morning together
• Christmas mini shoot We did this amongst tears and rushing, Courts is incredible for getting any pics!
• Attend our twins school Art Auction Such a fun night out and always for a good cause!
• A bush weekend getaway with our wine club A fun and restful weekend with special friends
• Celebrate our school class dinners Two class dinners and a class pool party to end the year
• Host our annual Friendsgiving dinner A beautiful evening of friendship and fellowship
• Attend our girls Sports Awards Proud of our girls!
• Read two books Proud to say I finished two, reviews coming soon
• Finish our Christmas shopping -Epic fail, haven’t even started!
• Update our kids milestone albums – Not this month!

December Goals

• Let’s be realistic – probably zero physical exercise will be done
• Survive another year of Elf on the Shelf
• Wrap up the school year with teacher and class gifts
• School Awards ceremony for our girls
• Enjoy the twins Christmas ring
• Celebrate our girls end of year reports
• Host our annual Bookclub Christmas dinner
• FINISH CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!
• Complete all stationery and uniform labels and cover all school books
• Update our annual memory albums
• Sing Carols on the Deck at church
• See the annual Christmas Lights
• Photos with Father Christmas
• Pamper moments as my bestie launches her new salon
• Celebrate our special Bella & Slater’s wedding
• Host Christmas Day lunch
• Enjoy our annual Drakensberg holiday
• Read two books on holiday
• Watch the new Virgin River season
• Be in the moment
• Bring in 2025!
