And just like that, Easter has come and gone and we step into the second quarter of the year… April is a fun month in our home – we finish off the holiday break, celebrate our SJ’s birthday and then settle into the new school term. And after a good break, we are ready for it.

A recap of March goals:

• Focus on my health – It’s been a good month getting back on track after being so sick last month!
• Prioritise myself and self care – I have been finding the time and even managed a little getaway on my own
• Read a new book – I have read a few and loving my bedtime reading each night
• Watch a new series with MC – We watched and loved The Gentleman
• Cheer our girls on at their first KZN and SA Champs for nippers – So proud of our two big girls, they did an amazing job at KZN Champs and EN at SA Champs
• Watch ZB’s first galas – I love to watch these little fishies swim! And finally her turn!
• Watch our big girls swim their D&D gala – Wow! Proud mom moments!
• Encourage SJ through her first round of KZN hockey trials – And she made the Durban Central A team
• Encourage SK through her first round of KZN netball trials – A tough day and she gave it her all but didn’t make it through further
• Celebrate our special Gogo’s birthday – Another special year with our favourite lady
• Celebrate ZB’s 7th birthday – After a long countdown, she loves her birthday!
• Host ZB’s ice cream slime party – One of our best parties, she LOVED every moment!
• Attend our final Baby Bright Stars class with the twins – Such a sad farewell. We have loved our Wednesday morning classes together
• Celebrate the final Tea with Tea morning and celebrate my special friend – Such a beautiful morning and celebration
• Welcome our special Robs baby into the world – We just adore our little Olivia Joan
• Care for SJ through her tonsillectomy – So proud of our big girl, she was so brave and courageous and has recovered so well
• Celebrate Easter with our precious bunnies – The sweetest weekend with our family, and our boys first egg hunt!

April Goals:

• Drink more water
• Wake up earlier
• Exercise more with my gorgeous MC
• Enjoy holiday moments with our babies

• Finish my new paint by numbers
• Blog consistently
• Surprise our girls with their first high tea experience
• Celebrate SJ’s birthday weekend getaway in the bush

• Encourage SJ through her second round of KZN hockey trials
• Celebrate two special teachers birthdays
• Make our annual dentist appointments
• Update the twins milestone albums
