EN 7th Birthday – Decor

26 May 2021| ,

Our precious Ellie Boo always has to wait so patiently for her birthday every year – having babies in consecutive months makes for a busy start to the year – non stop celebrations in February, March, April and then May.

After having a lockdown birthday last year, our EN was so excited for her birthday and party this year – and she started counting down after SJ’s birthday in April. And then it was much excitement that her birthday was on a Friday so her birthday morning in bed, birthday ring at school and birthday party in the afternoon were all on the same day!

Last year some time, we were chatting about themes and EN decided on a puppy paw-ty. Originally I think she chose the theme so that I would ship in a van full of puppies for her, but unfortunately if I had wanted to, our Estate doesn’t allow dogs (even as visitors) so there no real dogs present. But it ended up being the sweetest little theme… I was also lucky enough to get hold of the puppy dresses from one of my favourite stores in America and have them shipped by a. very sweet friend.

I love that our stationery wasn’t just puppies, but puppies with a girly touch with the pastel flowers in their ears. And we stuck to the pastel colours throughout the party. I added some fun tennis balls, and dogs bowls to our decor to bring the puppy fun to life. Each child received their own party packs of treats to eat with a little bow and a tub of puppy jelly slime.

By far the highlight of the party, was the puppy adoption station. Each of EN’s friends got to choose/adopt their favourite furry friend to take home – and they received a little box house, a puppy adoption certificate to complete and then make their own sparkly puppy collar with their names on. I love the way the kiddies absolutely loved choosing their puppy – like it was a red life one – and the best part is that almost every mom has messaged me since the party tp say the puppy has become the new best friend, goes everywhere with the kids and photos of them all cuddled up together at night.

Another fun party – and now time to relax as all our parties are done until 2022!
