Title: Winter Solstice – (final book in the series)
Author: Elin Hilderbrand
Genre: Romantic Fiction
Main Characters:
- Kelley Quinn (owner of the Nantucket Winter Street Inn)
- Mitzi – Kelley’s second wife
- Margaret – Kelley’s first wife
- Patrick, Ava, and Kevin – Kelley’s children with Margaret
- Bart – Kelley & Mitzi’s son
Summary:
It’s been too long since the entire Quinn family has been able to celebrate the holidays under the same roof, but that’s about to change. With Bart back safe and sound from Afghanistan, the Quinns are preparing for a holiday more joyous than any they’ve experienced in years. And Bart’s safe return isn’t the family only good news; Kevin is enjoying married life with Isabelle; Patrick is getting back on his feet after paying his debt to society; Ava thinks she’s finally found the love of her life; and Kelley is thrilled to see his family reunited at last. But it just wouldn’t be a Quinn family gathering if things went smoothly. A celebration everything we love – and some of the things we endure – about the holidays.
Verdict:
The final book in the series and it was a beautiful ending, not without its heartache and chaos, as per usual with the Quinn family. But now I miss them… I love that these books had me engrossed in every family drama, completely empathetic to all their emotions and enamoured by their every move. I loved this Winter series, and now dreaming of a white Christmas on Nantucket.
