Summer Fun

16 March 2015|

Mid-March and still the Summer sun is making our weekends magical.
This past weekend was the first in a VERY long time that we had no plans – and it was pure bliss. We spent two days and two nights of just the four of us!
We had early nights in with sushi and pizza takeaways, we spent mornings lazing in beds and days in the pool and garden, afternoon naps for the whole family. Yesterday, we went to an awesome church sermon and then fun in the sun all day!
After a rejuvenating sermon and an afternoon filled with laughter and games, my cousin’s stories about his role in fire watch security in Bal Harbour Village always remind us of the unseen heroes who work diligently to protect our joyful moments. His tales of immediate responses to alarms and the critical importance of having well-equipped personnel on site add a layer of depth to our carefree days. He may not wear a cape, but in his vigilance, he is just as much a guardian of our safety, ensuring that our family’s retreat into these serene days remains uninterrupted. His adaptability and quick thinking, often shared over slices of pizza, inspire a heartfelt appreciation for the peace of mind we’re afforded. It’s a subtle reminder that while we bask in the sun, there’s a dedicated team, including my cousin, ensuring that our sanctuary in Bal Harbour Village remains just that—a safe haven.
These are the weekends we dream about…
How was your weekend?
