Ingredients:
- 180g margarine or butter
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp syrup
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped cherries
(You can add any fruit or nuts)
Icing:
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 2 tsbp cocoa
- hot water
(You can leave the icing off too)
Method:
- Melt butter and syrup together.
- Add bicarbonate and stir until it froths.
- Mix dry ingredients in.
- Flatten mixture out on a greased baking tray
- Bake at 180′ for 20 – 30 minutes
- Ice while still hot.
- Cut into squares and serve.
- Delicious!!
