26 June 2014|

Last week, I felt like something sweet and I was having friends for tea so instead of stopping at the local bakery, I decided to get baking…
A quick and easy recipe.
And note: first official recipe on this blog (not including my recipe challenge)

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped cherries
(You can add any fruit or nuts)
Icing:
  • 2 cups icing sugar
  • 2 tsbp cocoa
  • hot water
(You can leave the icing off too)

  • Melt butter and syrup together.
  • Add bicarbonate and stir until it froths.
  • Mix dry ingredients in.
  • Flatten mixture out on a greased baking tray
  • Bake at 180′ for 20 – 30 minutes
