Third Anniversary Recap

10 October 2013|

When we got married, MC and I made a pact that we would make a conscious effort to always celebrate our wedding anniversary – either with a romantic and more traditional night in (especially when falling on a week night) or a romantic trip for two. We also agreed to alternate organising the anniversary celebrations.

Three years in and we are doing pretty well. This year was my turn and it proved to be rather tricky because almost all our weekends in September and October were booked with other events, trips and plans and MC has been so hectic at work during the week.  So I had to clever – somewhere local but still amazing. Cue one of our favourite hotels, right on our doorstep…

This hotel is simply stunning and a luxurious 5 star getaway, right on our doorstep. Throw in a couples massage, room service, buffet breakfast, photo shoot by the pool and a romantic dinner – and you have yourself one fabulous anniversary!

I’ll let the pictures do the talking…

  1. Ah, amazing!!! Those breakfast photos have my mouth watering all over again… seriously the best breakfast I've ever had… especially the pancake and waffle station 😉 Looks like the most wonderful way to celebrate your anniversary!

  2. Looks like such a great anniversary. I love the views! My husband and I try to do something similar on our anniversaries so that it's memorable. We celebrated celebrated our 3rd not too long ago. 🙂 Happy Anniversary!
