Another awesome Monday link up with Becky.
If I could turn back time, I would have…
Begged for a sibling
Not spent so much time entertaining family drama
Taken more vitamins as a child
Tried to be more fit during school
Pushed harder for a private school bursary
Adopted a better study method and approach
Given up on those “friends” that I didn’t need in my life
Not wasted my time on boyfriends during school or university
Focused on my own goals and dreams more
Always watched what I ate
Kept up my strength and fitness after school
Left home when I was 18
Travelled more
Spent more time at church and focusing on my faith
Worked harder and never failed that ONE exam
Studied post-grad earlier
Realised and acted on my feelings for MC sooner
Made my time in London more enjoyable
Stayed in London for longer
Saved more money
And that is where it ends.
From the day we got engaged, life has been exactly how I wished and dreamed it could be. And I wouldn’t change a thing.
In saying all this, all our life experiences mould us into the people we become in life, and therefore each of the above has taight me so much, and my life is all the better for these lessons.

Such an interesting post! I believe that we are EXACTLY where we are supposed to be right now. Even the bad stuff is there to teach us, mold us, allow us to grow, learn from it and then truly appreciate the good stuff.
I also have a few things that I wish I could have changed… but at the same time, I think it might change who I am today and my very path. It makes me think of that movie with Gwyneth Paltrow "Sliding Doors"… Maybe somethings would have been better, maybe they would have been worse.
I'm grateful for the good (and even some of the bad)
🙂
Lovely and thought provoking!
Much love, Bailey from Vanilla Blonde
I definitely would have been more focused on getting fit and staying fit from a younger age.
I would have taken better care of my knees when I hurt them
And I would have chosen better subjects and applied myself more at school. I then would have chosen a proper degree course and not the useless one I have.
Everything else – boyfriends, travels, friends etc all led to me to where I am today.
My only "regret" is my marks and poor career choice
I stumbled across your blog about a month ago and I find myself looking at it daily! I think you're hilarious and would like to thank you for keeping me entertained at work when i'm bored!! 🙂
oye… so many things i would change but you know what all those things made me who i am today and i'm ok with that
