1. Tell us what your favorite thing about Christmas is.

My favorite thing about Christmas is… EVERYTHING! I absolutely love Christmas and all that comes with it. I love the special moments with family and friends, the festivities and celebrations, the carols and beautifully wrapped and the yummy food and get togethers. I also enjoy going to church, being amongst many other believers, worshipping our Lord and remembering the true meaning of this special day.

2. Tell us what your plans are for Christmas this year.

Our plans this year are quite different. Instead of celebrating at home, we are going away to the Drakensberg mountains and will be celebrating with our families there. 

3. Show us a picture of Christmas in the past. Or present.

4. Do you wrap your presents all in one box, or do you like wrap each present separately?

I wrap presents separately. It is so much more fun this way. It makes the tree look fuller with many presents of all shapes and sizes underneath it. It is also fun watching those dear to us opening them all. It also allows for creative wrapping skills to be used.

4. Tell us about any special traditions that you or you and your family like to do.

Since getting married, MC have started a few of our own traditions. We put up our decorations together but his important job is to put the star on the top of our tree and mine is to turn the Christmas tree lights on. We also always enjoy our advent calendar chocolates each day leading up to Christmas. And we each have a stocking hanging up that is filled with small stocking filler presents. Now that we have SJ, I am sure we will start many more new traditions.
