I’m not a huge TV person. I have a few favorite series” to watch and thats about it. And maybe the odd sports game too. But I don’t lie on the couch aimlessly watching rubbish TV, I don’t sit and flick through channels when I’m bored and I don’t watch movies on TV, I go to the cinema for that.
But… the series” that I do watch are my form os escapism. My way of disappearing into the twisted and sometimes fabulous lives of others and switch off! I also watch them religiously – normally on PVR because I don’t like to schedule a set night in for TV viewing and I hate adverts!
My favorites list is quite extensive but you have to remember that they are all aired at different times of the year, not all at once. My list includes:
- CSI: Miami
- CSI: New York
- CSI: Las Vegas
- Desperate Housewives (I miss it already!)
- Greys Anatomy
- Private Practice
- Gossip Girl
- One Tree Hill
- The OC (I know it’s been gone a long time!)
And the latest two additions:
- Revenge (Season 1 is currently on in SA)
- Pretty Little Liars (I am a bit behind with this one so I am catching up on iTunes)
All I can say is – A.D.D.I.C.T.I.O.N.
Do you think they have rehab for TV Series addicts? I cannot get enough of the suspense and that thrill that both of these new series bring to my TV screen and wild imagination.., i have downloaded both seasons because I need to watch episode after episode to find out what is going on. In fact, i have just watched 17 episodes of PLL in 2 days!!!! Crazy! And I just can’t stop watching…

I am obsessed with Gossip Girl and am so sad there are only a few more episodes left before the very end. I am hoping, praying and wishing for a Chuck + Blair marriage. Ahhh.
I am also in love with Revenge!! Great show, never thought I'd like it, but both my husband and I are hooked. We also love to watch Big Bang Theory, The Office and Modern Family. I'm more of a "humorous" person and can't get into anything too serious, which is why I thought I'd hate Revenge- but I don't!

Right now, I'm following Grey's Anatomy, Dexter and How I met your Mother. There are so many TV series being produced and I have a hard time picking up on new ones. So, I usually wait for the new seasons of the shows I already watched.
But I think I'll give Revenge a try because I've heard so many people comment about how good and exciting it is. Let's see!

I have been developing a Revenge obsession recently too! I think I'm nearing the end of the first season!! It's so addictive, I even got my husband to watch 😉
