Who doesn’t love London/Europe in the Summer?
A constant buzz of people, electric atmosphere, strawberries and cream, ice cold Pimm’s and long Summer nights. There really is nothing like it…
For the past few years, MC and I have even lucky enough to be in London over the Summer – either to visit family with our girls or more recently, I have hopped on to one of his business trips and enjoyed a break away, just the two of us.
We made the most of these few days together – we drank tea in bed in the mornings, lazily decided what we would do each day. We toured the streets of London, taking in the sights and sounds, stopping for our favourite Wagamama’s dish and frozen yoghurt. We visited the infamous pink cafe, EL&N and booked our date night dinner at Sushi Samba, 38 floors up overlooking the spectacular City. And a bucket list moment – we watched two incredible days of tennis at Wimbledon.
A real treat to get away together, laugh together, reconnect and catch our breath for the joy that the second half of the year is going to bring.
Have you been to London in the Summer – what is your favourite thing to do?
